Are you following your dreams? I want to share with you a really cool story and how I believe everything happens for a reason when you are on the right path.
When I was in high school modeling, my idol was Supermodel Gisele. I would flip through every magazine and aspire to be like her (I didn’t get the memo I didn’t look like her, but hey everyone can dream LOL). In my eyes, one of the characteristics that made her stand out was her flawless beachy hair color that even when she wasn’t glam’d up always looked so perfect. I remember I had researched who had given her these gorgeous highlights and found out it was a genius artist named Harry Josh.
To even get in the room with Harry, you had to:
a) be Gisele
b) be Oprah
c) had to be on a photoshoot for Vogue or Elle

Well, unfortunately none of these were an option. Hair and fashion have always been a passion of mine. I’ve modeled for many hair companies, so for me, having Harry do my hair was a DREAM.
Fifteen years go by. I start my lifestyle website, Eye On Glam, and get an email from a friend in New York saying, “hey Harry Josh would love to do a video tutorial with you for Eye On Glam.” Not only was I going to meet one of my favorite colorists that I look up to, but he also wanted to be a part of my “baby” Eye On Glam! This was a moment where I thought to myself, “I’m doing something right.”
Meeting Harry and listening to his story was one of the most inspirational stories I’ve ever heard. If you gave up on your dream, just watch this video. I promise it will make you think twice and inspire you to never give up. I’m so happy to have met him, and I am so grateful to have made such an awesome friend.
