Michael Jamieson, the poster boy of
Commonwealth Games 2014 was stunned by Ross Murdoch of Scotland as he claimed a
gold medal in 200m breaststroke race. The youngster, just 20 years old was
broken down into tears during the medal ceremony as the scale of event had
become apparent. He produced a Commonwealth games record of 7.30 seconds as he
beat down the master, Jamieson in any major event. He also produced a British
record with his timing.
