Even on Day 3, Australia completely
dominated the proceedings with a total cycling medal tally to 15 in which it
won two gold medals in women’s 10 km scratch and men’s 1 km time trials. Annette
Edmondson was the first to reach the finishing line in women’s scratch race
while Scott Sunderland inspired the race all the way through in men’s time
trials.
What it meant was that Australia added two more medals to its
tally which is increasing by leaps and bounds.
