Meares’s Record Smashed



Another Aussie broke a record on the 3rd day of the ongoing Commonwealth Games. She qualified fastest in the women’s sprint and beat the dual Olympic Gold medalist. She clocked 10.984 to finish under 11, being the only women from the group of 13 participants to grab the top spot. 

The medal rides are scheduled for tomorrow whereas quarter and semi-finals will be held later in the day. Meanwhile, Meares from England finished second.
