Laura Trott became the gold medalist for
England as she was piped by Scotland’s Katie Archiebald in the final sprint
giving the audience a value for their money. Trott and Barker ended the race on
37 points in which Trott won by a virtue of a couple of yards deciding the race
on the final sprint of 5 km long race.
Generally, these long runs don’t end up
being so interesting but it came till the end for this particular race. K
Archibald stood third in the race.
