After winning two gold medals on Day 1, India started the event on a high note. Continuing the rousing start even on Day 2, India managed to bag a gold medal in 10m Air Rifle when Abhinav Bindra, the ace shooter from India hit the winning shot with a final score of 205.3 after a clumsy start in the first round.
Adullah Baki of Bangladesh and Daniel Rivers of England won silver and bronze medals respectively.
