Though it
was a bad day for Om Prakash, the success of Prakash Nanjappa proved
instrumental to keep the hopes of a medal alive in the 10m air pistol. He topped
the qualification round with some very high scores adding to 580 points.
The
final is scheduled for later in the day. Unfortunately, Om Prakash lost the
chance by a single point. Steward Nangle of England and Daneil Repacholi of
Australia took the second and third position respectively.
