Save Gaza- Termed Political by CGF

The issue of Gaza has affected Commonwealth games as well. Malaysian cyclist Azizulhasni Awang was warned by CGF after he wore glove bearing “Save Gaza”. This act was termed political by CGF and warned the cyclist that this shouldn’t happen in future. The cyclist apologized to the organization but insisted that the act was rather humanitarian and not political.

Surprisingly, the games held every 4 years are termed as “friendly games”.
