Indian Weightlifter Caused the Upset

Santosi Matsa lost to Chika Amalaha of Nigeria and Dika Toua of New Guinea to win a Bronze today. The 16 year old Nigerian showed some great strength to outdo the Indian weight lifter in the 53 kg weightlifting category at Clyde Auditorium.

Swati Singh stood fourth despite showing good show in the closely fought match. India relies mainly on its weightlifters to increase its medal tally paving way for a successful Commonwealth Games 2014.
