Yes, it might sound strange to you. When the six-time Olympic gold medalist  turned up to match the opening day of cycling, all he could see was a security guard asking for his ID. But he took it in a light way and displayed his down-to-earth mannerism by showing off his credentials and taking his seat in the stands.

Later BBC Radio reported that the girl was just doing her work.
