Even on Day 5 of Glasgow’14 Commonwealth
Games, Indian shooters continued to pour in medals with some more medal
strikes. Gagan Narang bagged Silver with his rifle in 50m rifle event but
looked hungry for gold. Jitu Rai and Gurpal Singh bagged gold and silver
respectively to take the medal count further up in men’s 50m pistol event. The
26 year old, Pistol king Jitu scored a Commonwealth Games record 194.1 creating
history. Rai is ranked no 4 in the world currently.
