Maliaka Shines With a Bronze

One of the India’s youngest shooter in the Glasglow ’14 games, Malaika Goel from Amritsar, won a Silver medal in closely fought 10 m Air Pistol category. She lost the final match by a slender margin of 1.5 points after fighting hard for the first position finishing with a final score of 197.1 points. She lost to Shun Xie Toe of Singapore who lasted at a total score of 198.6.

She bagged eighth medal for India on the second day of Commonwealth games.
