It was a great day for the Englishwomen as
she strikes a gold medal in Women’s 50m Backstroke final as well. In the
process she created a new British record by becoming the first woman ever to
complete the double sprint. Amy Smith stood forth in the race.
After winning
the race, Fran Halsall described the feeling “really good” and stated that she
swam faster than last night. She also said that it’s been good couple of days
for her and she puts a lot of faith in her coach.
