Rebecca Gallantree and Alicia Blagg of
England won gold in 3m Synchro diving with some terrific runs in the pool as
the spectators cherished every moment. They produced magic in the final leg of
the competition to much delight of the crowd as it was England all around. A score
of 72.54 in round five put them ahead of the Canadians as they overshadowed
their effort. Canadians were ahead in the first four rounds but heroics by
England team members put them in the hunt.
