Under the 100 kg category, Euon Barton
claimed gold inside a high packed Persian crowded SECC. He defeated Shah
Hussain Shah of Pakistan to bag a gold medal in his kitty. He was another
player who came out of retirement to compete in the ongoing Commonwealth games.
He had to face a humiliating first round exit at the Olympics earlier. He also
moved to coaching after London Olympis, 2012 and had to work hard every day to
prepare himself for the games.
