Hocking was Rocking

A new Commonwealth Games record was created yesterday by Belinda Hocking breaking the previous best in women’s 200m backstroke. Justifying her credentials, she took away the gold medal in style by setting a new record of 2:07.24 to outdone her opponents completely with her speed and endurance.

Emily Seebohm won the silver medal to make a one-two for Australia while Hilary Caldwell of Canada won the bronze medal in the end. Fourth was Lizzie Simmonds.
