It seems that New Zealand needs a little bit of luck.
Already standing low in the medal tally, the 26 year-old Lauren Boyle stood 4th in the 200-meter freestyle even after qualifying as the third quickest in the qualification round. But it was her least favored event and she still stands a chance in 800 meters, which is her stronger side.
It was down to just 00.38 seconds which made the difference between the 4th position and a bronze medal.
