It was Nijel Amos of Botswana who won the gold medal
in men’s 800m final race to run off like a wizard on the track. Before the
match David Rudisha was hoping to open his stride to win a gold medal in the
race but he was taken by a surprise run by Nijel Amos of Botswana who kicked
off a perfect end to the race with just 70m to go. Wow, what can be a better
end to a race with a thrilling contest that ended with a long bursting sprint
by the winner.
